Yamunotri Gangotri Tour
According to the Hindu belief, Chardham is the four most
important Hindu religious sites in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand state,
India. Yamunotri, Badrinath, Gangotri, and Kedarnath are collectively known as
Chardham. Chardhams are the sacred temples dedicated to Goddess River Yamuna, Lord Vishnu, Goddess River Ganga and Lord
Shiva respectively.

This morning after breakfast ,start your journey to Barkot, located on the foot of Yamunotri. Drive via Mussoorie and visit Kempty falls on the way. On arrival at Barkot, check-in to your Barkot hotel/camp. The rest of the day is free to relax. Dinner and Overnight stay at Barkot.
After breakfast, drive towards Janki Chatti via Hanumanchatti. From here there is a trek of 6 km to reach Yamunotri Dham. You can hire a Doli or a horse, for your trek. Yamunotri (altitude 3,291 mts), the westernmost shrine of the Char Dhams, is dominated by Banderpunch (6,361 m). Once you reach, visit the main Yamunotri temple for Darshan and seek the blessings of Goddess Yamuna Ji. After paying homage, trek back to Janki Chatti. From here, drive back to Barkot. Dinner and Overnight stay at Barkot.
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Uttarkashi. On arrival check-in into the hotel. Uttarkashi is situated on the banks of river Bhagirathi and is famous for its historical monuments, Temples & Ashrams. In the evening, Visit the famous Vishwanath Temple. Dinner and Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
In the morning after an early breakfast, drive towards Gangotri. Upon arrival, take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges which is also called Bhagirathi at its origin & offer prayer to the Goddess Ganges. After performing Pooja Later afternoon drive back to Uttarkashi. Dinner & Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
After waking up early morning, post having breakfast, move ahead for Uttarkashi, on the way have Lunch at Chamba. Rest of the day will be at leisure and you have choice to go locally. Comfortable overnight stay at Haridwar.
